We seek a passionate and driven Assistant Store Manager to join our team and help lead and support ownership in both locations.
Job Overview:
The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with ownership to ensure smooth daily operations, provide leadership to the sales team, and maintain an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This role requires strong leadership skills, retail experience, and a flair for fashion. This position is for one Assistant Store Manager who would divide their time between the two store locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Management:
- Support the ownership in leading a team of sales associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, helping to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Act as a role model for the team by setting high standards for performance and customer care.
- Utilize conflict resolution skills by addressing and resolving customer and staff concerns promptly while maintaining a positive store environment and store values.
Operations:
- Oversee store cleanliness and product organization, ensuring the sales floor is visually appealing and products are well-stocked.
- Perform and assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the store is secure and prepared for daily operations.
- Assist with the training and onboarding of new employees.
- Be knowledgeable about fashion trends and offer customers honest feedback to enhance their shopping experience.
- Assist in analyzing sales reports and other performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Enforce store policies and ensure store operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Actively engage with customers on the sales floor and perform customer transactions.
- Contribute to developing and implementing social media strategies across platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Provide daily updates to store ownership on sales, performance, and any issues.
- Ensure that merchandise is presented in an attractive and organized manner to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
Sales & Marketing:
- Implement strategies to drive in-store and online sales, focusing on increasing Average Order Value.
- Collaborate with the ownership on promotional campaigns and events that resonate with the local community.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a boutique setting.
- Proven leadership or team management experience.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Fashion-forward with the ability to offer honest feedback and style recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in social media platforms and retail management tools.
